1. Role Overview

Volvo Car Kuwait is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team.

This position offers an opportunity to build strong expertise in automotive accounting, receivables, payables, banking, vehicle invoicing, reconciliations, and financial controls while growing within a dynamic organization focused on performance, growth, and success.

2. Key Responsibilities

Cash & Bank Operations

• Daily till and cash reconciliation
• Daily bank reconciliation and follow-up on outstanding items
• Reconciliation of bank suspense, journal suspense, and Till/R accounts
• Monthly petty cash confirmation
• Handling annual/semi-annual bank KYC and other banking requirements

Accounts Receivable (AR) & Sales

• Posting and reconciliation of customer receivable payments
• Preparing and sending Customer Statements of Account (SOA)
• Accounting for vehicle purchases and sales
• Accounting for bike purchases and sales
• Creation and accounting for used car and motorcycle stock, including direct purchases

Accounts Payable (AP) & Suppliers

• Posting and processing supplier and marketing invoices

• Preparation of cheques and payment-related documentation

General Ledger & Month-End Closing

• Posting monthly accruals and related accounting entries
• Maintaining accurate accounting records
